The Search Engines Have Come
2007/10/27Search engines have started to hit Random Field. As far as I know, there are only a few places that link here. I put some links on Slashdot and put a link in my profile on Kongregate. Most visitors are coming from the former.
Ask Jeeves seems to have just crawled the entire site. Google has only asked for robots.txt, which does not exist. It also seems as though some real people are starting to show up. Thank you. It looks as though the top hit is the Leopard article. While I was a little disappointed in the first few hours, as I have continued to use Leopard I'm really coming to appreciate some of the features that did not just jump out at me. Now my impression of the software is much better. Leopard still has its quirks, but what comparable package doesn't? There will be another article later that goes into a little more depth, but for now I have updated the note regarding an iCal bug. I have not seen the bug since I noted it and I am unable to reproduce it.
